In other items I mentioned that we had our lovely little car squashed by a tree.  Got me thinking a out nature and going greener - I mean heck, you dont have to hit me over the head with a tree (twice) to get me to notice something.  So this is part of the SpringTime collection which is a green collection made up of actual pieces of nature and recycled objects.  This one in particular is made up of a piece of bark from the actual tree that crushed our car.  It also has a pretty little birds nest  botanical picture, as well as some scrap metal and scrap watch parts, and a Swarovski Crystal, all resined together for durabilty and shine.  It is all epoxied firmly onto a pin back and treated with a solution so it will stay together. Completely hand made, completely one of a kind and a wonderful gift for someone for spring.

This is part of the SpringTime collection which is a green collection made up of actual pieces of nature and recycled objects.  This particular piece is a brooch made of an old watch face below and above a watch case.  Inset in each are above, a botanical print of a bird, and below its nest.  There are various pieces of scrap and watch parts in a collage, with silk scraps along the area where a band would normally connect, in brown and cream.  The brooch is resined and has a lovely shine, and the whole piece is epoxied onto a pin back.  Really cute and durable.  Would be adorable with a scarf or just on a sweater or lapel of a jacket.  Really unique!

These are vintage tiles that are set onto cufflink backings and then finished with a medium gloss covering. Convo me for which initials you want before purchasing as I have a fairly limited number of letters. These would make a really fun gift for dad or any man in your life and I actually have a pair myself for when I wear my french cuff shirt. Enjoy!

This, again, is part of my Spring Time Collection.  The idea behind this collection is to embrace the coming of spring, and respect the environment.  The main theme is birds and recycled time pieces.  This one is a durable and flexible plastic vintage watch motif frame, filled with a collage made up of a botanical bird print, recycled watch parts, silk red scraps and a charming "time stands still" note on the bottom, to remind us to stop and smell the roses and enjoy ourselves.  The collage is resined, giving it durability and a multidimensional appearance, and the entire piece is epoxied firmly onto a brooch back.  This brooch is cool and looks great on a coat or jacket.  Would really sing on a red scarf too.
